Escribir a oscuras: "El guerrillero" de Albalucía Angel y "El lugar de su quietud" de Luisa Valenzuela

Resumen
En este artículo analizo dos cuentos de distinta difusión publicados a fines de los años 70: El guerrillero de Albalucía Angel (1939) que pertenece a la antología ¡Oh gloria inmarcesible! (1979) y El lugar de su quietud de Luisa Valenzuela (1938) incluído en Aquí pasan cosas raras (1975) para mostrar, primeramente, cómo las escritoras producen obras de ficción que tematiza la violencia, el autoritarismo y la censura de las sociedades de las cuales forman parte.
En segundo lugar, quiero subrayar las formas que utilizan para referirse a estos temas alejándose de los modelos masculinos al presentar transgresiones temáticas y formales. Dichas transgresiones aparecen en la mezcla de lo erótico y lo violento
en el caso del cuento de Ángel o, en el uso de la ironía y el humor negro en el cuento de Valenzuela.
Abstract
In this article I analyze two short stories published in the late 1970s: El guerrillero by Albalucía Angel (1939), which belongs to ¡Oh gloria inmarcesible! (1979) and El lugar de su quietud by Luisa Valenzuela (1938) included in Aquí pasan cosas
raras (1975) to show how these women writers penned short fiction that thematizes the violence, authoritarianism and censorship of their societies. I also intend to highlight the strategies that they deploy to refer to these topics, separating themselves from models set by male writers, which constitute thematic and formal
transgressions. These transgressions present a mixture of eroticism and violence in the short story by Angel and in the use of irony and black humor in Valenzuelas short story.
